Most authors are about to learn the publishing process the slow way — one costly misstep at a time. I have already made those mistakes, on other people's manuscripts, more than a thousand times over.

That experience is the whole point. It means I can look at where you are and tell you, plainly, which decisions matter and which ones don't. The full path from finished manuscript to a real, distributed title: interior layout, cover, ISBN and metadata, and setup on Amazon KDP and Ingram so your book is available worldwide. You write it; I get it made and out the door.

A finished book that nobody knows about isn't finished. I help with positioning, launch planning, and the audience-building work — podcasts, video, and steady presence — that turns a title into something people actually pick up.

Who I am

My name is Kevin O'Grady. Most of the world knows me as Ahonu — a honu is the sea turtle, which in Hawaiian culture stands for longevity, wisdom, and protection. It has turned out to be a fitting name for the work.

I've spent my life in a strange range of rooms: the drilling rigs of the international oil fields, the boardrooms of Pfizer and Schering-Plough, and the quiet of an Akashic Record reading. Different as they look, they ask for the same thing — clear sight, honest judgment, and the nerve to act on what you find.

I'm a dual citizen of Ireland and the USA and a father of four. I bring an engineer's precision to the mechanics of publishing and an intuitive's read on people to the human side of it. I don't traffic in vague promises. I help you find what's true, get it organized, and carry it out without wasting your time, your money, or your energy.
